Muller Light Chocolate Vanilla and Cherry
Advantages: Great flavours, taste and scents.
I bought this yoghurt the other day from the supermarket, I'd had it before and out of the three new Muller Light chocolate ones, this one was my favourite, it was delicious, so I thought I'd have it again and review it.
Muller have been around for a while now, they sell a wide range of different flavoured yoghurts, and this particular yoghurts is one of their new ones. Whatever supermarket you go to, your guranteed to find some kind of Muller product in the fridges, as they are a very good brand, not just taste wise, but price wise as well.
The yoghurt is packed in a plastic pot with a foil lid, as most yoghurts are packed. The pot is white with bits of purpley/red colour on, which obviously refers to the black cherry. The foil lid has the name of the product on as well as a picture of some chocolate, black cherries and vanilla pods, it's a really eye catching picture, and looks quite elegant.
Around the plastic pot is various information about the product, nutritional information, ingredients and the like.
Vanilla, chocolate sprinkles and black cherry underlayer.
Look - When the yoghurt is first opened it's a purple/red colour, the colour of black cherrys, with hints of white, which is obviously the vanilla. It also has flecks of chocolate throughout the yoghurt. The black cherry underlayer isn't visible, but with me wanting the full flavour and effect of the yoghurt, I mix it all together and the yoghurt turns a deeper purple colour as the black cherry is mixed thoroughly in.
Smell - The main scent of the yoghurt is that of the black cherry, it's quite a strong smell, but not overpowering. There is a very slight delicate scent of the vanilla, but it's not overly obvious.
Taste - When the yoghurt is first popped into my mouth, I get a burst of the black cherry, it's quite a strong flavour, but as a move the yoghurt around my pallete, it becomes more creamy as the vanilla flavour hits and then the richness and flavoursome essence of the dark chocolate. The strongness of the black cherry, goes deliciously well with the vanilla and dark chocolate, and they compliment each other well, however I do feel with this yoghurt, comparing them to the other two new flavours, the dark chocolate isn't as apparent as it is in the others.
Texture - The texture of the yoghurt is quite smooth, but then my tongue is hit with bits of the black cherry and chocolate sprinkles, it makes the yoghurt a really nice overall texture. It doesn't feel gritty as some yoghurts can, as the chocolate melts pretty much straight away, and the black cherry is quite chewable and moist.

Overall I consider this yoghurt delicious. It's got great texture and taste, with a lovely strong flavour of black cherry, and a light flavour of vanilla. It's fat free and only 98 colories per pot, which is great for a biggish filling yoghurt, being 165g. The chocolate sprinkles aren't as apparent in this yoghurt as they were in the other two, so if you're wanting this yoghurt just based on it having chocolate in then this one probably isn't the one for you. A gorgeous treat, with each flavour complimenting eachother to make a truly delicious dessert.
Thanks for reading.
