Nestle Aero Mousse
I've been buying these from Tesco as they are selling the 4 pack of individual Mousses for £1. I know it's not a huge saving, as they are normally £1.19 in my local tesco, but since I had never tried them before I saw the large £1 symbol, and i've bought more today, it just shows what a little drop money off and being stuck on an end aisle will do!
You get these in White Chocolate, Mint Chocolate and Milk Chocolate. I've not tried the White Chocolate ones yet, but the other 2 are nice. I found the Mint Chocolate not quite as rich and sickly as the Milk Chocolate, but they were both yummy!
Found in the chiller aisle next to the other Chocolate Mousses and Yoghurts.
There are 4 quite deep round tubs that are stacked 2 high. 2 are joined to each other and they are easy enough to snap off and just get 1 on it's own. They have a thin pull off plastic lid. The packaging is alright. The tubs are thin plastic and are mainly white with the Aero writing and bubbles in Blue for the White Choc version, Green for the Mint Choc and Brown for the Milk Choc. There is loads of bubble shapes on the packaging and it looks nice and creamy in my view. The Mousses are in a cardboard wrapper holding them all together as well and the colouring and design are the same on that.
The Mousse tubs are 58g and have 98 calories for the Milk ones and 106 calories for the Mint ones, so could be eated as part of a calorie controlled diet.
Now to the Mousse. The Milk Chocolate one is a very dark brown colour and looks smooth on the top. When you take a spoonful out you will see it is very Bubbly and this tasted nice and creamy. The Mint Choc one is a medium Mint Green colour and has Milk Chocolate ripples through it. I think I would have preferred a little more Milk Chocolate in the Mint one, but the Mint in this is nice and Peppermint-y.
These are lovely and I can see myself buying these even when they go up in price again slightly. They make a nice dessert and are handy enough to pop in a packed lunch box as well.
