~What is it?~

Maxibon is an icecream sandwich made by nestle. It has two sides, one side covered in chocolate and the other end covered in biscuit, Inside is vanilla ice cream.

It is wrapped inside a yellow wrapper and is available in both the US and Europe. It costs about 1.50 or so.

~Is it nice~

MAxibon is my favourite icecream, the chocolate end is crunchy, whilst the sandwich end is soft and biscuity. The vanilla inside is not very rich or creamy, but it compliments the sweetness of the biscuit.

The combination of chocolate covered icecream and biscuit make it very satisfying and quite filling.

However I find it hard to get hold of, the only place I can buy it is my local garage, and even then not very often.

~Calories~

There is 273 calories per bar of maxibon which is very high for an icecream, so it has to be a treat rather than a daily summer food.

~In conclusion~

High calorie, pricey and very very tasty, I love them, and find them a little addictive. Great for a summer day on my local beach.
