“ Brand: Nestle / Type: Ice Cream „
I love milkybar chocolate, it is one of my favourites but as it so expensive for such small bars i rarely buy it, only as a treat. I was looking for a nice dessert as a weekend treat whilst in tescos the other week, and as summer is coming up i thought i would get my first tub of ice cream this year! I saw this milkybar ice cream and i did think twice about getting it, as you can get a supermarkets own brand for half the price which is usually nice, but as it was an occasional treat i decided to pick up this milkybar ice cream.
This ice cream cost me £2.00 for just a 800ml tub! Although i did think as milky bar chocolate is usually quite sickly, this tub would last a while as i thought you would only be able to have a small amount before feeling sick! I was wrong though, this ice cream tasted really nice and not too much of milkybar chocolate. You could deffinately taste the white chocolate but it wasnt sickly at all like i thought it would be. We could still only manage a small amount though as it is very rich and quite thick and creamy.
There are also lots of mini bits of white chocolate in there, there wasnt too many or too little, there was just the right amount added. These were gorgeous, you could tell they were real pieces of milkybar chocolate.
I dont think this ice cream is too bad for you as a treat. In a 100ml serving there are only 133 calories, which isnt actually that bad for a dessert! So you can have this and not worry about it being too bad for you!
This tub of ice cream didnt last long as it was so nice, we had eaten it in about 3 days! I was expecting it to be in my freezer for weeks like ice cream usually is as we dont eat much of it, but we love this one, it was gorgeous!
This ice cream is free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. The tub says this product may stain, so be careful of kids making a mess and getting it all over them! It also says once opened the colour and texture may change, but i didnt notice this, it looked the same as it did when we first opened it, although we only had it for 3 days!
I highly recommend this ice cream if you love milkybar white chocolate! It is smooth, creamy and isnt too sickly. You wont be disappointed!
I went to my local Tesco store the other day with the intention of buying some ice cream. It had never really occurred to me before the vast variety of ice creams on available, there literally is something for everyone.
Browsing the freezer shelves I was drawn to a section of ice creams on offer. To my complete and utter surprise I could see a Milkybar tub of ice cream. I love white chocolate and in particular Milkybar and was intrigued to know what it tasted like.
It was priced at £1.99 each or two for £3. In the interest of being healthy and knowing what I am like with ice cream I was sensible (for once) and only brought the one.
~ The packaging ~
Instantly looking at the oval shaped tub one is aware this is a Milkybar product as it has the Milkybar logo emblazed across the middle with the Milkybar "kid" to the left of it. Yellow and red cover the rest of the tub.
In a plastic container, the inside is of a gold in colour.
I would describe this packaging as eye-catching.
~ It says.... ~
"White chocolate ice cream with white chocolate drops"
To be fair this is exactly what I was expecting.
I was however a little suspicious to know if the ice cream tastes of the Milkybar chocolate or not.
~ Nutritional value ~

~My verdict ~
I was very excited to try this ice cream and see if it lived up to my high expectations.
I have to say the ice cream is soft and very refreshing but to me did not taste as much of Milkybar chocolate as I had hoped. The Ice cream did however taste very nice, jut not as I was expecting it to.
On the top of the ice cream there is an adequate amount of white chocolate drops that tasted very nice as I scooped some ice cream out it was evident that there was a few drops throughout the ice cream. It is in my opinion that there is not nearly enough chocolate in the ice cream, somewhat disappointing for a Milkybar lover.
I can not actually criticize the ice cream itself as it did taste lovely.
I found it quite sweet and a 100ml serving would be plenty for me, any more and I would feel a bit sick I think.
~ Would I buy this again? ~
Probably... I enjoyed it but there are other ice creams that I enjoy more. I found it good value for money and the ice cream has lasted well.
I hope this review has been helpful, thank you for reading.

I love white chocolate and especially Milkybars and when I saw they now do Milkybar ice cream, I bought a big tub for Christmas.
This ice cream is lovely and soft. It is not rock hard like many ice creams when they first come out of the freezer - this is great for someone like me who is very impatient!
The taste is divine. It is extremely sweet and chocolatey. It is rich and creamy, just like milkybars. What I found as a bonus treat was that within the delicious white chocolate tasting ice cream, there were lots of small solid pieces of milkybar chocolate. These were lovely and obviously complimented the ice cream perfectly. There were plenty of them as well.
It is just under £2 for a 950ml tub. You cannot miss it on the shelf at the supermarket, as the packaging looks just like the milkybar chocolate bars.
Nutritional Info per 100g:
Overall I have to give this 5 stars, even though I know that it is really sickly sweet. It is just so delicious and in my opinion is very unique as well. This is a pretty sweet chocolate ice cream and would only suit those with a very sweet tooth. Having said that, a very small amount alongside another fruity dessert is absolutely delicious and even a guest who does not have a sweet tooth, did not complain and ate it all up!
I purchased milky bar ice cream for my grandson thinking he would love it but he wasn't to keen though, so I thought id have a try of it, well one taste and I was addicted to it.
Milky bar ice cream is everything it claims to be, it just tastes of frozen white milky bar and has lots of white chunky chocolate chunks. I love white chocolate anyway so I was sure to like this product, The ice cream was creamy and soft and melted instantly on my tongue, once i had tasted the delicious white chocolate i was hooked.
This ice cream has definately been made to entice children, i found the ice cream a lovely consistency unlike some cheaper ice creams which can come out and be like a solid block. I took mine out of the freezer 5 minutes before eating and it scooped out the tub with my scoop very easily.
Milky bar ice cream comes in a 950ml plastic oval shaped tub. I purchased this product from ASDA freezer section at a price of £1.96.
The ice cream comes in an oval shaped tub which is distinctly designed with the milky bar colours of cream and red. The wording across the front is milky bar which navy blue in colour. The ice cream has a reseal able lid which on first opening has a small seal that needs to be broken.
Milky bar ice cream is produced by Nestle they have been famous since 1867 when Henri nestle first created baby milk formula and saved the life of a neighbours child.Other products in this range also include Fab and Smaties ice cream.

Overall milky bar ice cream is a great white chocolate dessert; it tastes great and packed with lots of chocolate and quite good value for money, But definitely not for any one who does not like white chocolate. I look forward to trying the other two varieties.
Milky Bar Icecream? - Do I like it??
So Milkybar Icecream. What do I think? Well I first bought this product a few weeks back and thought I would let my baby have a little try, due to his addiction to white chocolate. It cost me around 2 pounds from ASDA and comes in a fairly large oval tub (around 1 litre) witha bronze coloured lid, which is sealed. This ice cream tub is not as big in size as normal tubs, which are around 2litres, from supermarkets but believe me you won't want much of this before you feel sick.
The milkybar icecream is quite pale in colour and is slightly off white. It has lots of little white chocolate balls on the top which are predoiminatley in the centre however these chocolate balls spread throughout the whole ice cream.
The Ice cream is quite sickly and after a few mouthfulls you probably won't want anymore, thats unless you are a chocolate addict ofcourse.
Milkybar icecream, I believbe must be designed for children, mainly due to the soft creamy texture and small chunks of chocolate which can be easy for them to eat.
This is not my favourite dessert, I am a massive ice cream fan and do like chocolate but this mixture is too sickly for me. Perhaps in very small quantities with something else with it, but definately not on its own for my liking.
Here is my second ice cream review of the day and this time is one that I tried for the first time only recently. You will all be aware of the Milky Bar but not all of you would be aware that there is also an ice cream from Milky Bar. This comes in a one litre tub which has a shape like the carte dor ice cream tubs.
**Milkybar Ice Cream**
Once you open the lid of the tub you will see the white chocolate ice cream covered in little milk chocolate chips which are mainly in the centre of the tub with some scattered around the sides and bottom of the ice cream tube. You will notice that the ice cream is a lot softer than most ice creams and it is also quite a bit thinner in texture than the majority of other ice creams around.
**Where can I get it?**
This Ice cream is part of a deal at the moment where it is £2. This deal is available in any of the supermarkets Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons, which is where I bought my tub from. You will also find the ice cream in some of the larger chains of newsagents like cost cutter. But you are unlikely to find it many other places.
I am a big fan of White Chocolate and this is one of the nicest white chocolate desserts I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The great thing about this ice cream is the blend of the creamy ice cream with the white chocolate chips which add more great taste to it. If you havent experienced the taste of this yet then what are you waiting for.
This is another great tasting dessert but again don't have too much otherwise you will probably feel a little sick from having too much of this creamy ice cream, A great ice cream to share though, great for kids and grownups alike. One of the nicest new desserts I have had recently.
We had some Nestle Milky Bar Ice Cream for dessert the other day as the Mrs had picked some up for the grandson as a treat. There were five of us having some and the one tub was used up in one go! I checked and it's only 950ml so that's not so bad really. It was £2 for the tub which isn't a bad price for this kind of ice cream dessert.
My first impression of it was good as it looked and smelled really nice. There were loads of white chocolate drops on top of the ice cream made from Nestle milky bar chocolate and a fair amount spread throughout the ice cream as the Mrs drove a spoon through it too.
Digging my spoon in was a bit of a disappointment though I'm afraid to say. The ice cream was so aerated that it was like a Mr Whippy dollop in my bowl. Actually, Mr Whippy is probably more ice cream than this was! It was like a cross between ice cream and yoghurt in texture which I really didn't like. I like ice cream to be thick and solid not sludgy and runny.
The taste was pretty good though and definitely had a strong taste and aroma of milky bar as I know it to be. The ice cream could have been a bit more flavoursome but it was adequately chocolaty and there were enough milk chocolate drops contained in it to pad out the flavour.
The grandson certainly liked it but then it was a novelty to him. He's not using to getting ice cream for pudding with loads of sweeties in it. The rest of the family agreed that it was a nice, mild and sweet white chocolaty flavour but that the texture was very poor quality.
Nestle Milky Bar Ice-Cream
Nestle is a multi national company that produces familiar items such as Nescafe, Kitkat, Milkybars, Shredded Wheat and Ski Yoghurts.
Milkybar is one of Nestle most popular products. Milkybar is a bar of creamy white chocolate that is generally associated with young children
If you like Milkybars and you like ice cream then this is the ultimate treat. This is a relatively new product from Nestle and I is very popular with all the kids I know. It is available from most large supermarkets although I have sometimes found the shelves empty (unsure if its popularity or lack of ordering)
The ice cream comes in a two-litre carton and costs approx £2.49 per carton. It is well packaged with a lid that is easily removed even when straight from the freezer. The ice cream has quite a soft consistency almost like homemade ice cream and the texture is really smooth. The taste is soft and creamy and milk chocolate; there is a distinct taste of Milkybar in every mouthful. I am not a hug white chocolate fan but this is a really nice treat.
Nestle also do a Milky Bar Ice Lolly that is ice-cream covered with milky bar chocolate and has a similar taste to the ice-cream
Nutritiously the ice cream is not too bad and contains approx 150 kcals and 6g fat per serving.
A very nice pleasant teat
I'm extremely fond of Milky Bar chocolate and so when I saw the Milky Bar ice cream I just had to try it.
The ice cream comes in a tub decorated in the colours associated with the Milky Bar brand red and white and so is easily recognisable in the shops. It is also clearly labelled Milky Bar just to make certain.
When you lift the lid you are immediately hit with that family waft of white chocolate. The ice cream looks like most normal ice creams but is covered on the top with little milky bar chocolate drops, heaven!! Scooping out the ice cream I noticed that it was quite soft, which is exactly how I like it. I mean who actually enjoys spending twenty odd minutes trying to scoop rock hard ice cream out of a tub.
Once I had it in a dish I sat down on the sofa to savour the taste. I must say I was pleasantly surprised, as normally these branded ice creams tend to taste nothing like the product. This one however does, it is extremely creamy just like the chocolate and the little chocolate drops add an element of crunch to the otherwise perfectly smooth texture.
An added bonus is the fact that the product contains no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives and is suitable for vegetarians.
There is one downside to the ice cream however and it's not the price, it retails at about £2.00 a tub, which for a branded ice cream isn't that bad. No the problem is that once you start eating it you'll never what to stop and soon you'll have forgotten all about scooping it into a dish and will just start digging into the tub with a spoon.
