“ Brand: Nestle / Type: Yoghurts „
I bought these this week from ASDA, I had never seen them before and thought they would be delicious as every other nesquik product is, they were on offer, as the picture shows in a 6 pack for £1, ideal for pack ups and as a treat after dinner, they are very small pots of chocolate mousse. The pots are small and ideal for kids, but as a big kid, I couldn't resist buying them for myself. The pot is the standard nesquik yellow with the nestle and nesquik branding on the sides. There is a picture of the mousse inside and the nesquik bunny is on the side of the pot smiling. This to me is to attract the children who go shopping with their parents to nag them to buy the treat. The chocolate inside is very strong, it is not runny but not too thick it is just right, it is a consistent milk chocolate colouring and tastes the same which is good as I do not like dark chocolate. The chocolate looks smooth but when you have it in your mouth it feels slightly grainy to taste, but you cannot see anything in the chocolate whilst looking. This however does not derive from the taste of the mousse it still tastes chocolately which is ideal for kids as a sweet treat instead of a chocolate bar or a biscuit. One negative for me is that the pots are very small, I wish they had a lot more mousse in them, this is because it tastes nice and is very moreish. You end up wanting more once you have ate the pot which you only get about 5 teaspoons out of, as I have just tested whilst writing this review. Each pot also has the nutritional information on the side which I think is good as it shows you exactly what you are eating individually and how many calories you are indulging in, that is if you are like me and not a child enjoying it because they can. Overall I would buy these mini treats as they are great for pack ups and for a childs treat, or great for an adult who wishes a treat which doesn't make you feel too guilty because of how small it is. They are good value whilst they are on offer at ASDA at 6 for £1, go on you know you want to try them!
I always buy Nesquik Fromage Frais as they are truly delicious and have a wonderful texture with a taste that's out of this world. They come in little 6 packs and each pot is joined to each other by plastic. They easily snap apart and you get a 6 pack for around £1.48, which isn't too bad, working out at under 25p a pot. The pots are yellow and have the Nesquik rabbit on them or some other design such as the blue Nesquik logo. The pots are really small and only 60g in weight. The plastic top easily peels off to reveal a brown creamy looking fromage frais. It has a very smooth and texture, yet it isn't so wet as proper yoghurts. It has a somewhat thick and creamy texture. It tastes quite sweet and just extremely smooth and creamy. It tastes of chocolate but it has this sweet creamy taste to it, which is simply delicious. It makes an excellent snack or dessert after dinner. It's also great for dipping stuff in such as dessert sticks or even biscuits. The pots are very small in size, so they are ideal for kids and I'm sure they would love them! They are really addicting though so you may want to buy a few packs. I'd highly recommend them as they are so delicious and the flavour is like no other! Thanks for reading, Dan ©
