      Great little treat

I am a big fan of these little pots, ok they were most likely designed for children but adults love them too! Petit filous are known for their fromage frais yoghurts and there are plenty of flavours out there. This pack of the chocolate and vanilla comes with 4 x chocolate and 2 x vanilla. Everyones favourite is always the chocolate one, but the vanilla is great too. Each pot is 60g and is perfect as a little dessert for adults and children. They contain no artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners and are also gluten free! The nutritional information per 100g is as follows: Fat: 5.3g Kcal: 150 sugar: 19.5g salt: 0.2g Ok it might be a little high in sugar but these are given as a treat! Overall a great tasting fromage frais that I love to eat. The price of them is usually £1 for a pack of 6 but are often on a deal such as 3 for £3.

        Petit Filous

On my quest to find different, interesting and healthy foods to feed to my baby whilst weaning I came across Petit Filous yogurts. Yogurts in my opinion are a great source of calcium and one of my favourite snack foods so I was happy to find these yogurts and happy to find out that they also are specifically aimed at babies and young children, in fact Petit Filous actually means little rascals in French. Petit Filous are fromage frais yogurt which means fresh cheese and is a bit different from a yogurt as it is very smooth and creamy. These yogurts are also quite thick and very set when you put your spoon into it. THey have a lovely sweet creamy taste to them. On the pot it actually says that these yogurts are suitable for all ages weaning onwards and I started my baby from 4 months onwards. She absolutely loves these and can eat two pots in one sitting. What's great about the pots is that they are little, smaller than regular adult yogurts and perfect for kids and babies. Kids love them because it's like they were actually made for them. Petit Filous say that these pots are full of calcium and vitamin D, perfect for a healthy diet and lifestyle and we all know that calcium is great for strong bones. THey also contain no artificial colours, sweeteners or added preservatives, no fruit bits and gluten free so they really are a great weaning food. What's more the flavours are lovely too. They come in a number of different varieties such as strawberry, raspberry, apricot and raspberry and peach. Each pot is 50g and they are generally sold in packs of 6 for around £1.50.
