Advantages: Cheap n cheerful
Disadvantages: Chocolate not very nice
Bought these today but they are now a pack if 8 for 60 p. Considering you get 8 choc ices from sainsburys own brand for one pound but you get a larger quantity weight wise I would prefer to go for them. You get around 457ml in the basics but 560 ml in the other one.
Ok so the product classic.choc ice set up cardboard box in this case white with the usual basics writing with 8 individually wrapped ices in white paper. The ice cream is not unlike any other you find in choc ices not too sickly sweet but not creamy either. The chocolate on them I have to say disappointed me it had the cheap artificial taste cheap choc often does. This was the real reason it made me look at the weight and the ingredients. The ingredients make up is almost identical on both sainsburys do.
If it was a case of keeping prices low for the difference in size/weight it wouldn't be that noticeable and they still are enjoyable just could be nicer.
Summary: Not too bad for a cheap treat
