I guess I should begin this review by saying a great big thank-you to all my Dooyoo chums for recommending this product so often. I was browsing the 'new review' section and noticed a review for these cheap but very cheerful chocolate treats. To be honest I was quite dubious about these chocolate desserts and was quite surprised by the number of people recommending them on Dooyoo. After shelling out 25p for a pack of 4 (oh yes, that's 6.25p per pot!) I too will be recommending them to everybody and anybody.
Normally I don't have the sweetest tooth in the world but occasionally I do fancy something chocolatey after dinner. When you open the pot you get a good nosefull of chocolaty s scent. This is a bit suprising because there is only 2% chocolate in each pot, but it is still a rich, deep, dark chocolaty smell.
When you dig into it you will find that the mousse is very light and fluffy. Its probably the amount of air in each pot that makes them so cheap and also helps to keep the calorie count down (only 97 calories per pot).
Despite the light and fluffy texture, the flavour is full and really tasty. It does actually taste like chocolate and isn't at all synthetic tasting.
The pots are not huge but they've just cost you a phenomenal 6.25p each so you are not really going to complain, are you? Even without the low price tag I would be seriously struggling to find any fault with these mousses. In my opinion, they are well worth the 4 stars I have given them. I was dumbfounded by the price and really impressed with the flavour and quality of this product. I thoroughly recommend them to seasoned chocoholics and occasional dessert munchers alike!
