      Lovely custard.

I got this the other day to go with a desert as it was on offer at £1.00, I had never even noticed it before as it was in the fridge section and I usually buy custard in tins.

This was a great bargain, I got 500g for £1.00 and I think it's only usually £1.10 when it's not on offer.

The custard itself is very yellow in colour, and it's very thick so it does look a bit like paint, which I found a bit strange. This custard was so creamy and lovely. I have mine hot so I just popped it in the microwave for a couple of minutes, and it stayed just as thick and creamy. My husband has it cold and he said that it was beautiful.

We had it as an accompaniment to a desert and half a tub was enough for two of us, so the other half lasted until the next day.

I wouldn't recommend this as part of a regular diet though as there seemed to be quite a lot of fat in it, but that's expected with custard, and as a treat every once in a while I'm sure it's fine.

I will be buying this from now on, over the tins as it tastes much better and it stays thick when you heat it up, it also lasts longer than the tins.
