 ... price was hiked up a bit as we were in a Sainsburys local! So the carton of custard is predominantly a deep green in colour with a good picture of the product on it. There is also a traffic light in the corner showing the nutritional values, most of these are orange so not too bad. Pouring out the custard I was pleased to see how thick it was, it looked creamy and had a slight aroma of vanilla. You can enjoy this hot or cold but we chose to have ours hot. We had this custard the other day when my partner decided he wanted apple pie with custard after tea! So we had a look in our local Sainsburys and there were a few offerings, including Ambrosia tinned custard and this. As this was only 55p I thought we would go for this as we were trying to save some pennies and in my experience, custard usually tastes the same no matter what it is, especially if it is poured over something. So as I said we paid 55p for a small carton of this.
