The Package **********

The Taste **********
The Jelly * Strawberries in a strawberry jelly, lovely tasting jelly, had a lot of strawberry flavour and really tasted of those strawberries.
The Custard * I like Sainsbury's custard because it tastes nice and creamy and vanilla flavour bursting through, no lumps and tasted like an even blend of milk, custard powder, and was quite sweet, but not too sweet.
The Topping* This was really nice cream, it was quite a generous portion and tasted lovely.
What i really liked about this Strawberry triffles was the fact that unlike the large ones you could have one of these when you fancied, and didnt feel like you had to eat the whole thing, because you had opened it.
The Trifles are not suitable for freezing, if you keep refridgerated you obviously must eat by the sell by date.
Allergy Advice Contains Gluten, Milk, Wheat and egg, and may contain trace of nut.
I really liked these trifles, and what i particularly liked about these, was the jelly as it has a really lovely taste, the cream i loved, and the custard was just right.
All in all a perfect combination, for a trifle.
I always associate Trifles with my X mother in law, sadly she has now passed away, , but she always used to buy one of those trifle kits and make a hudge bowl of trifle every Sunday. Buying these put me in mind of her, and the trifles she used to make.
I prefer home made trifles, but in this day and age, and if you dont have the time to prepare a bowl ful yourself, these little trifles seem to be a good idea, as you get three of these little pots, so you can have a little trifle of your own when you fancy.
Thanks for reading and rating my reviews. x
