How much do I love Snickers ice cream bars? THIS much! I am a big fan of normal Snickers bars but the ice creams are on a whole new level. They are essentially the same thing, except that the nougat part has been replaced with ice cream. If you are a fan of Snickers then I defy you not to enjoy them! The bars are quite small and I do tend to find that one is never enough. They are are usually sold in packs of 4 (or 6 if they're doing a 'get two free' deal) and you can usually find them on offer in a supermarket. I would not pay full price for these as I believe they are overpriced, but an offer price of £2 for 6 bars isn't too bad. The ice creams are really hard when you take them out of the freezer so I would recommend letting them warm up a little first (for about 10 or 15 minutes) before eating or else you might break a tooth! They are also really sweet and rich because of all the ingredients (chocolate, nuts, caramel, ice cream) so you might find them a bit sickly, but I just find them incredibly moreish.
Snickers have Improved they're Multi-nationally known Franchise by introducing a new selection of Snickers Ice cream, yes I was also tempted at first. Just last week While walking around tesco's doing my weekly shop I was approaching my way to the checkout when My son had pointed out that we had no ice cream. Trust him to point that one out, and as usual he suggests five or ten different brands before me picking out the value one. But my son automatically had picked up the Snickers Chocolate ice cream tub and said that he wanted it. I myself was feeling in the mood for a luxury so For once I said "ok sure" and we proceeded as normal. For a tub of Snickers ice cream which is known worldwide and they price that at £1.19. Now I may sound rather skeptical but I think that Is a serious amount of money for an ice cream which tastes Cheap. The ice cream at first is like rock, so you have to leave it outside of the freezer before tucking in. Now my son was gorging down by the mouthful, he is easily impressed however as I could not find one thing that was different from the average tesco choclate, that was in Snickers. Apart from large unneccessary chunks of choclate. I could not find anything that gave me that 'wow' facter apart from the packaging, which was quite neat. I would not recommend unless you are more than willing to throw £1.19 in the bin, which I don't think anyone is during this difficult time. I however will have to make an effort as my son does enjoy it thoroughly. thanks for reading
These have been out for ages, and although I am not the biggest Ice Cream fan, I like the odd one of these. You can buy them individually in some shops in the Ice Cream/Lolly compartment, and they are priced around 80p (I haven't bought 1 individually for ages though, so I could be wrong), Or the best bet is to buy a multipack box of them. I think you get 4 in a pack and they often cost around the £1.50-£2 mark. They were on offer in Asda not that long ago for £1 a box, or they come with 50% extra free sometimes. The box is alright looking. It is quite a sturdy cardboard box. It is mainly brown and has the writing across the front of it. Nothing that eye catching, but it does it's job. The bars sit inside easily enough. The bars are individually wrapped as i'm sure you would have thought. They are in a cellophane type wrapper which is a brown colour again with the Snickers writing over the front of it. The Bar isn't as long as a standard Snickers Bar, but it is as thick as one. The only difference is that the Nougat part is replaced by creamy white Ice Cream, but the rest is the same as a Snickers Chocolate Bar. It has nice Rich Caramel with roasted Peanuts on the top and the whole lot is covered in Thick Mars Milk Chocolate. I don;t have 1 to hand, but they aren't the healthiest Ice Cream treat, but i'm sure that's what makes them taste so nice! These are kinda sickly for me since there is caramel, nuts, chocolate and ice cream, but I like one once in a while. They aren't the most expensive Chocolate treat, and a summery, cold take on a great original Chocolate bar. You can get others in the Mars range in Ice Cream form as well, and they are equally yummy.
