Tesco Ready To Serve Custard 425g I love this custard, it is quite yellow in colour and really has a nice smooth texture and taste. It is a very good competitor in the custard wars as it is such a good price. It costs only 40p for 425g, it comes in a cardboard tetra type pack and you just cut it open and serve it - either hot or cold. I am rather fond of desserts and a great favourite is baked puddings served with custard. I usually make my own custard, but occasionally I am in a hurry and like to have a box of long-life custard on stand-by for emergencies. This past weekend my husband and I were invited to a BBQ and it was my task to provide dessert. When taking a hot dessert to a friend's house I prefer taking a box of long-life custard.
