... opened the pack but I was rather disappointed from the lightly sweet smell, there was no caramel aroma at all.
The taste couldn't convince me either; well it actually didn't taste of much at all. The cream was rather neutral in taste and the caramel sauce was so watered down that no caramel aroma was left; it actually tasted quite unpleasantly of sweetener and I ended up eating the cream and avoiding the sauce.

The Tesco Cream Caramel is one of the very few Value products that disappointed me; there's not much taste and if any you can taste artificial flavourings. It's a shame; I really like cream caramel but never find the time to bake one myself. They actually do look like good cream caramel is supposed to look like with a small layer of dark brown caramel sauce on the bottom and the light cream on top.
