I had one of these at the weekend, and I had forgotten how good they are.

I cant remember how much they cost but I think they can range from about £1.00 to £1.50 depending on where you get them.

These ice creams really are delightful, and if you have never tried one, they are really worth a go. I think you can buy a multipack in a box from the supermarket which works out cheaper than the above price though.

The individual ice creams come in a foil wrapper, which is easily removable. The magnum classic is vanilla ice cream with milk chocolate around the outside.

The milk chocolate isn't as good as cadburys (but what is) but it is still a really good quality chocolate and is really tasty. It is very crispy and it can come off in big chunks, which I really like as I eat the chocolate first then the ice cream.

The ice cream is really beautifully creamy and soft. It tastes mostly creamy but with a hint of vanilla, it melts pretty quickly so there's not much time to savour the lovely taste, but makes it very easy to eat.

I don't imagine these are healthy by any means, but I'm sure as long as you don't eat a huge amount of them they are good as an occasional treat.

The only one thing I had forgotten that really annoys me about magnums, is the size of the stick. They are really small, which creates two problems, it means it doesn't go far enough up the ice cream on the inside, so there is a risk of losing half you magnum if you are too aggressive with it. It also means that you will get chocolate on the fingers that are holding the stick. I don't find that too much of an issue, but some people ay not like it, and I imagine it's not a child friendly ice cream.

A great tasting ice cream with a flaw in the stick, but worth it as they are so nice.
