Varese (Italy):
... is a city of around 90,000 people in the North of Italy. It is situated 50 kilometres north of Milan and only 12-15 from the border with Switzerland. The region is hilly, the hills get lower the more you go towards Milan, while they become mountains if you go North. Varese used to be one of the richest cities in Italy because of the textile industries and the micro industries in its province, it still remain... Read the full review: Varese by REALTRAVELLER |

Trogir ... of the frustrating things about holidaying in Croatia is the very rigid ferry timetabling system that sees crossings to and from the islands seriously curtailed from the beginning of September. From September there are few crossings suitable for tourists wishing to make day trips to the islands closest to Split, with crossings concentrating on serving commuters rather than tourists. There are numerous interesting and picturesque destinations that make good day excursions from Split; w... Read the full review: Trogir - joined up history by fizzywizzy |

San Francisco ... visited San Francisco in 2007 as part of a fly-drive trip also including LA and Las Vegas. San Francisco was the last stop and we spent 5 glorious days there. ~Basic Info~ San Francisco is located on the west coast of the United States. Approximate flying time from London is around 11 hours. Both Virgin Atlantic and British Airways do direct flights as opposed to many other major airlines that do connecting flights in another major city. San Francisco is the fourth most populous city in California, and the 12th most populous city in the United States. SF is the financial, cultural, and transportation center of the large with a region of 7.4 million people. The city is... Read the full review: San Francisco.....why did I wait so long? by MrsE |

Western Australia ... can i say about Western Australia apart from its bloody BEAUTIFUL!! i have travelled all around Aus, been to every corner and major city and although each have their good points, for me Perth and the rest of Western Austrlia won hands down. It is quieter than the other major cities, which gives it that sence of "real australia" and not too touristy! The beaches are some of the most beautiful and it really is breath taking to watch the sun set and rise over the ocean. The town city is cool and has a great night life as well as there being plenty of thing to go and places to eat. If you like wine then that is also the place to go as it has some of the best ...
