James47 Holiday Resorts in New Zealand: ... lived in Wellington New Zealand for the first thirty years of my life, and although now residing in other parts of the world, I have always come back to refresh my memories of this ever changing city. When I visited the Capital last Christmas, I was amazed at the changes I saw. For instance, you can now take a harbour ferry from the downtown wharves area at Queens Wharf, and cross the harbour over to Days Bay and ...

denise40 Nimbin (Australia)
... I had a few free days in Byron Bay when I was touring Australia so I decided I would like to explore the are. I came across a leaflet with a tour to Nimbin promising me scenery. Not really knowing anything about the town I booked the tour. We were going to get a Nimbin shuttle and 2 and a half hours in Nimbin itself. It cost us $25 for the day trip. One Australian dollar is equal to roughly 0.46 United Kingdom pounds. You can get tickets from the Transit Centre and most booking agents. We booked directly from the YHA hostel we were staying at. You can ring 02 6680 9189 or after hours 0407 788 042 to book this tour. For more information you can visit wwww.nimbintou...

ben_1907 Taupo
... have been to Taupo twice once in 2005 and again in 2007. Taupo lake is one of the biggest of New Zealands many lakes covering 60, 000 ha. Once there one must take a quick swim but only if you visit in the summer, fishing is a big sport around the lake so hire a fishing rod and catch yourslef some dinner. If one is the dare-devil type then why not go sky diving over the amazing lake, free fall for 60 seconds and take in all the surrounding views of all the volcanoes and mountains, and not forgetting the enormous lake. I have not stayed in Taupo fo longe than two days and I dont think you need to unless you have plenty of time. The town is nice with some nice shops, cafes...

SusanLesley Penrhyn Castle
... few weeks ago hubby and I joined the National Trust using the money his mom had given him for his birthday and today we finally christened our membership cards! Mom in law is currently staying with us for a couple of weeks so the three of us decided to go and take a look around Penrhyn Castle. The weather forecast was dire so we wanted somewhere that we could be indoors. As it happens the rain didn t arrive until we got home at tea time but that s often how it happens here and we don t complain! Penrhyn Castle is situated about two miles from Bangor in North Wales. To get there you can catch one of the numerous buses that run from either Llandudno or Bangor which pas...
