the best white sand and azure water i've seen (Boracay)

Boracay is the most popular tourist beach destination in the Philippines. It is a small island approx. 7km long and 1km wide at its thinnest point. White Beach is the main area, and it is gorgous. White sand and lovely blue water, no rocks or seaweed in the water and it is quite shallow and calm.
It is a great place to combine a paradise beach setting whilst also having excellent facilities. It can get quite busy, and hawkers selling boat tours and other activities can be annoying. So head to somewhere like palawan if you want to play Robinson Crusoe instead.
But if you can ignore the people selling stuff, this is a great beach destination. There are accomodations to suit all budgets, lots of restaurants and bars, various fun activities to try like island hopping, but the best thing is 'happy hour'. Nothing beats sipping a cheap pina colada, lounging on a sunbed overlooking the sand and sea.

Summary: great place if u don't mind the crowds
