The town is built at the western end of a 2.5 miles stretch of beach - and is joined by a promenade to the neighbouring resort of Arenal. C'an Pastilla is located on the south coast of Majorca / Mallorca - and the transfer time from the airport to resort is just 20 minutes! One small problem though with the resort being so close to the airport - and that is the aircraft noise that you will most definately hear - but for those that enjoy plane watching, its ideal... you can sit on the beach and watch the planes land and take off several times throughout the day. The town dates back to the 1960s, it was just a fishing village, but began to adapt to the tourist boom - and still many buildings and hotels date back to this period.
