Canary IslandsNewest Review: ... it was exercise. The beach at Los Cristianos was fantastic! Clean, plenty of space and busy with people. The sea was a little dirty but you cannot have everything. You do however have to pay for your sun lounger all day costing 5 euros. Now if you are a sun worshiper its worth your money, but if your like me and cannot sit for more than a few hours I suggest to pick up a cheap straw mat for a few euros instead. Along the beach there are many places to eat. They serve your typical sausage, bacon, egg for breakfast and very reasonable meals for the family, so eating out isnt necessarily expensive. Where are the Canary Islands? Well for starters they are mainly inhabited by the Spanish, but are also a very common hot spot for English tourists trying to get away from the awful weather back home. The islands are clustered together, situated on the western edge of Spain/Portugal in the Altantic ocean. The islands making up the Canaries are,Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and a few smaller ones, mainly: Alegranza, Graciosa, Montana Clara, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste und Lobos.
