lomond12 Holiday Resorts in Greneda: ... Anse Beach is in the South West Coast of Grenada. It is on the Carribean side of the Island. The other side of the island is on the Atlantic Coast and the sea there can be quite rough at times. It is about a 10m minute drive from the capital St Georges and is reputed to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the carribean. We were staying in the next bay our hotel the Rex Grenadian was suituated at Pink Gin Be...

... 16th – 30th August 2004 Flights We flew from Manchester to London Heathrow on BMI. The service and leg room on BMI was excellent. However, it is a very short flight and were just getting comfortable when the flight landed. Our connecting flight from Heathrow to Havana was with Air Jamaica. This flight was delayed an hour for boarding because of Hurricane Charley which was causing problems for most flights in that direction. Once boarded the flight was delayed another hour because they didn’t have a 1st Aid Kit. The leg room on board was EXCELLENT in economy and the food was very good. We were constantly being feed and given drinks (champagne, beer or any drink you des...

... the middle of February I had some free days and decided to spend one in Baden-Baden, a small but famous town in the southwest of Germany set in a wooded valley of the northern Black Forest, 70 km west of Stuttgart, 30 km south of Karlsruhe and 40 km northeast of Strasbourg in France. The name Baden-Baden, meaning the town of Baden in the state of Baden, was adopted to differentiate it from another spa town, Baden-bei-Wien (near Vienna). I had been there before, many years ago, in fact I didn´t know how many and why I had gone there! This time I had a clear plan, though, I wanted to see a new museum and the collection of contemporary art therein. Oddly, the only thing ...
