Arrived back today from a bank holiday weekend at Sherwood Forest. Service was excellent in restaurants and Jardin des Sports. The Comfort villa was minging though: cobwebs on skirtings and ceilings; woodlice on walls; trim falling off cooker; dirty carpets and windows; holes in ceiling; tacky 70s DFS reject sofas. What a dump!

The good things were the Indian restaurant and sports bar. Our 5 year old son enjoyed the playgrounds and activities too. It was our first visit to Center Parcs and probably our last. We are used to better quality of accommodation: it was worse than unnamed allocated on arrival on a last minute cheap package (and this was not cheap).

Summary: Do go for facilities; but be prepared to slum it
