A great break for anybody (Center Parcs)

Advantages: Do as much or as little as you like

Disadvantages: Can be very expensive, some areas are not value for money

Myself and my partner went for the 4-night VIP executive villa break at the Longleat Centerparcs and as this was our first ever visit, we were a little apprehensive, but I must say we did thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
Abseiling, Zip-wire, Falconry, Fitness Programs, PhotoShoot, 3G Swing, Archery are to name but a few of the activities we took part in and really had good fun in each, this was mainly down to the staff that hosted the activites, most were extremely friendly and helpful and were made to feel in safe hands with the more daring activites.
We chose to eat out instead of cook, this was quite costly but we had three course meals all the way including drinks so we cannot complain, although I feel we did deserve a little bit more on our plates in exchange for our hard-saved cash.
We ate at Grand Cafe, Sports Diner, Huckleberry's and Luciano's (Twice), the latter being the fact that personally we found this to be the best out of the lot, for service and for value.
The villa we stayed in was very nice, very roomy and very peaceful (maybe because of our elder neighbours). The only thing that let the villa down was the maid-service, we had paid that little bit extra for the little extras but I'm afraid we didn't get the real deal.
From Monday to Thursday, the whole villa was not hoovered, the log fire was not sweeped for ashes, towels were not exchanged, toilet rolls were not replaced and the bathroom hadn't even seen a mop.
I did complain however and was told that the cleaner does not hoover the floor if there is something left on it as they are not allowed to pick things up that we have left, now I understand health and safety but all that was left on the floor was a pair of size 5 shoes and they were left next to the wall!!!
They could not explain the rest though but did offer to sort it out the next day, in fairness they actually did.
This was one of the very few let-downs to centerparcs that I encountered.
I recommend Centerparcs to absolutely everybody, there is something for everyone, it is suitable for couples, families and even parties of mates.
I knocked Centerparcs before I tried it and regret not going there sooner.

Summary: Excellent break, really enjoyed ourselves, came home for a break
