Advantages: Erm...

Disadvantages: Poor accommodation, very bad customer service, overpriced

Just returned from our first and definitely last visit to Elveden.

Though surrounded by beautiful countryside, the perimetre barbed wire fence enclosing the site gives a feeling that you have been penned in to spend as many pennies that they can squeeze out of you, usually by means of the overpriced, very average onsite restaurants or supermarket.

Customer service onsite was generally very poor or non-existent. There were members of staff that we spoke to who were very nice, approachable and helped us with queries but most responses consisted of objectionable grunts that made us feel like we should know the answers to our silly questions already.

When queueing (for almost everything) we were amazed at the amount of people who had similar gripes to ours - accommodaton with poor/non-functioning 'features', being sent in all directions to get anything sorted out, lack of anyone who knew what/where/how to do anything.

Positivrs were....our journey home.
