A magical place to take the kids! (Center Parcs)

This is my absolutely favourite holiday destination in the world!

I am due to go to Center Pacs Elveden Forest tomorrow and this will be my 6th Center Parcs holiday. I'm not sure where to start! When you get there you will be instantly struck by the sense of peace you feel at being in the middle of a forest. Once you have unloaded your car you have to return your car to the carpark and everybody cycles or walks everywhere, so there is no traffic to worry about. The chalets are self catered and come with everything you could possibly need for your stay, although you will need to provide your own food and towels.

The only downside is the price of the activites and the food available on the park. If you don't want to spend lots then you can fill your time walking, cycling and swimming, all of which is free (unless you hire your bikes there). We always do things like play badminton and tennis, which are fairly cheap to do.

As for the restaurants, we have always found the food excellent but a bit on the expensive side. We have now discovered that Bella Italia and Cafe Rougue accept Tesco Clubcard vouchers, so £50 worth of points will pay for £200 worth of vouchers. Enough to pay for all our meals out for free!

The price of the holiday itself can work out expensive if you pay the full price. There are usually up to 30% off discount codes available on the Internet on sites such as moneysavingexpert.com and hotukdeals.com. If you sign up to their newsletter they will often email you with late availability offers.

All in all it's a magical place to go for all the family!
