Advantages: Loads to do, good exercise, relaxing, The pool is ace and the rapids

Disadvantages: It is quite expensive, the site is huge you might get lost

I went to Center Parc last year in November for a weekend Friday to Monday break. I Did not think I would enjoy Center Parcs as it looked like a boring place for old people! It also looked like a place you would only go to if you were fit as the site is huge and you are not allowed to drive around it!

However, the things I though I was going to hate turned out to be the things I enjoyed most. I loved the fact that cars were not parked everywhere or driving around so it was much safer to walk around or ride bikes.

You can hire bikes from Center Parcs but be aware they all look the same and there are a lot of them so you could easily miss place yours!

The Center Parc I went to in Warminster near Longleat had nearly everything you can think of there was a swimming pool with outdoor rapids which was great fun and the kids loved it, it also had a hot tub and waterslides.
Within the site there are restaurants, cafes, a bowling alley, a supermarket etc all the thing you need.

You can also book to do activities like paintball, high raised challenges, badminton, snooker, pool, tennis etc. There is loads of do, which is fantastic as it suits all ages.

The site as I said is huge to navigate and walk around but there is a land train which is a bit of a life saver at times it moves very slowly but quicker and easier then walking.

Hidden throughout the site are loads of play areas and parks to keep the kids amused.

I thought center Parcs was very expensive to begin with but once you break it down into how much a person it seem quite reasonable. I thought the break was great value. (After I had been)

Summary: Center Parc a nice relaxing break in the woods

We went in August and loved it, except found riding in the hills of longleat quite difficult so got the land train everywhere
