Advantages: So relaxing, the aqua sana

Disadvantages: The restaurant rebranding, prices are steep

After 12 visits to Longleat and Elveden, the latest visit was somewhat let down by several things.

Maybe Ive become more "pokey" with each visit, but something did not sit right about introducing a Cafe Rouge and Bella Pasta into Center Parcs. To me, it was selling out. I would like to think they are financial issues unbeknown to me as to why such an introduction was made.

Otherwise, Center Parcs has provided so much needed light relief to any stressful year. Ok, it's expensive and though, it used to be marketed as "the British holiday the weather can't spoil", it was soon realised this was not true. You can forget playing in any outside tournament with the slightest hint of drizzle.

The jewel in the crown at Center Parcs for many is the Aqua Sana and I would agree with this. I could happlily spend most of my holiday in it. In all, Center Parcs, described by many as Butlins for the rich is a fantastic experience, and it is no wonder they have such a high retention of holidaymakers returning year on year. Just be prepared for the ubiquitous middle-cass famillies cycling around in their shell suits with little Johnny on his way to win the squash tournament.

Summary: Excellent holiday

I keep looking at Centre Parcs, looking at the prices, and deciding that I don't want to spend that sort of money to go to what I perceive as a holiday camp. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm not convinced!
