Advantages: Activies and forest location gives that "on holiday" feel

Disadvantages: Can be very expensive

I've been to Centre Parcs at Longleat 4 times now so hope I'm able to pass on some useful information about my visits.

Booking

The website is generally very easy to use, but there are two things to point ouy here. Firstly, don't take the prices as set in stone. It is always worth searching for discount codes on google. I've saved over £100 before by taking 5 minutes to search for a code. There are normally plenty around. Secondly, don't always take the "number of" 's as set in stone. They may say they only have 1 left on the site, but I've called them before and found that isn't always the case.

Check-In

The check in process is also easy. Arrive at Centre parcs and queue up to get to the check in lodge. This queue can be quite big, depending on what time you get there. I'd advise quite early. You can always park up and have a walk around until you are allowed to you accommodation. Accommodation is available from 3pm and the queue at the gate becomes very big very quickly. My advice? You have two options, get the in queue early (meaning you face a long wait in your car) or wait for the rush to finish.

Accommodation - There is a large variety of styles ranging from 1 bedroom apartments up to 4 bedroom villa's. All accommodation is of a good to very good standard. A village map is available from the website to check the position of your accommodation. (some are obviously further way from certain parts resort than others).

Facilties - There's a huge amount you can do at centre parcs so I won't go through the whole list. But, I will say one thing. Activities can get very busy, so pre-booking is a good idea, and also that they can become very expensive. You pay for everything when you are there and it soon add's up.

Summary - A brilliant UK holiday made better by having Longleat safari park right next door.

Summary: Ideal UK holiday, but can be expensive with the activities on offer
