Advantages: Fabulous for relaxing, Loads and loads to do, Food and drink is excellent

Disadvantages: None!

I consider myself a Center Parcs veteran - I first went 14 years ago when I was 12 and at the time thought it was paradise. I was the oldest of four children in my family and loved the way Center Parcs meant I could do my own activities and make friends without hanging round with three much younger brothers. We went back every year until I left home and then unlike most students I didn't save up to go travelling but saved up to go to Center Parcs. Its blissful for a group of young people, the villas are great and if a few of you go its not too expensive. There's tons of activities from watersports to archery to painting to exercise classes to swimming (of course!) to horseriding to eating, to discos and to cocktails and ten pin bowling!

I now go twice a year with my partner and another visit with a group of friends. There are always things to do, and they are great at putting on special events - next week when we go there is a Jubilee Ball which should make an excellent evening out.

I recommend staying in an executive villa if you go as a couple, and I rate Longleat forest as the best for couples. Its pretty hilly and that can be off putting for families with small children. Sherwood (and Eleveden when it is rebuilt) get my vote for a family holiday, and these are also slightly cheaper.

All the villas have a microwave, excellent furniture, lovely kitchen with everything you need, clean bathroom of a good standard and a large TV. The excutive villas benefit from a CD players and an ensuite bathroom for each bedroom (handy for a large group of adults as otherwise you can see some aguements over the bathroom).

The best thing about Center Parcs is the choice - you really can do as much or as little as you please, I love relaxing in the spa while my boyfriend does something energetic, then we meet up later for a nice dinner, some drinks and then the disco.

I can't say enough good things about it - go,
just go I guarantee you will love it and be going back for more.

I have often wondered if Center Parcs are as good as they say. Thank you. I enjoyed your op.
