Stayed at CP longleat Sep 08 - never ever again. Executive (ha ha) Apartment was extreemly dated, showed signs of wear and tear and stunk!!! Every doorhandle/surface one touched (in the apartment and parkwide) was filthy and greasy. The whole place needed a good clean (but hold on, that would eat into profits!!!!) Restaurants ...

We recently came back from Centre Parcs in Longleat. Choosing to go over a long weekend as opposed to our last visit to Nottingham being a midweek break, we decided last time we were too tired by the last day to appreciate it. Nottingham and Longleat are similar and different in so many different ways and it's a shame they couldn't combine ...

Currently in Centre Parcs Elvedon Forrest with my parents and brother and would like to point out this is our 6th visit and definitely our last. The whole villa smells strongly of urine, everything was uncleaned. We had hair around the sinks, mould on the curtains, stains on the beds. Cobwebs, dust, hand prints and crumbs EVERY ...

On arrival at Center Parcs we unloaded everything at the Chalet and left our car in the central car park. Here the car would stay until it was time to depart. This is great, a chance to holiday without driving everywhere. Better still it makes it a safe place to cycle around. When you arrive you get a book which includes a plan of the site and how ...

I've just come back from a mid-week break at Center Parcs, Whinfell Forest and that was my third and not last visit there! Advantages: When we arrived, the queues weren't overly busy so we managed to get in, unpacked and parked very easily, but I understand it could be different at certain times. Wildlife was abundant, there were ...

Well, we had a brilliant time! I managed to bag a late deal and my daughter (8) and I stayed in the Lakeview Hotel at Elveden Forest Centerparcs. It cost £199 for a weekend (3 night) break. This was my second trip to Centerparcs - as a teenager I went with friends to the Sherwood site (about 16 years ago!) and like many ...

Came back from Elvedon yesterday. First visit to a Center Parc, most deffinatley the last. Over priced and over rated. Totaly ripped off, filthy hotel, stains on sheets etc.. god forbid it rains as then you are in trouble, stayed 3 nights and whole thing cost £600, oh and that was myself and a nine yr old child!!!! not an entire family.
Save your money and go camping, wish I did, normally do something like this but decided to try for a treat. Honestly if you thinking about it then I advise you really do not do it.

I used to go to Center Parcs at least once a year when I was a kid, with my parents and younger sister. We loved loved loved it, so when I found a cheap deal for the holiday park we'd loved as kids (Elveden) I decided to book it up for me and my boyfriend.
What had looked lively and fun in 1993 looked dated and sad in 2008. The villas look nasty and the whole place is falling to bits and cynical. The restaurants are expensive and the food very average. The subtropical swimming paradise looks like it's not been touched since 1993, every corner you turn is a new excuse for them to rinse you of your hard earned cash- in short, it's a mess.
Save your money; go somewhere else.

As an extended family, we have been to Elveden Forest Center Parcs at least 30 times - but never again.
Our heating and hot water failed, yet the staff were not interested and it took repeated requests to get any action; a new pump being required.
The salt pool is dirty - there being grafitti inscribed in the dirt on the waterline.
The villas are being upgraded but not to a high enough specification to justify the spiralling costs.
All this is very regretful. We were at Elveden when it was damaged by fire a few years ago and at that time the staff and customer service were superb. Our complaints regarding this last visit went unanswered. It's easier to lose a reputation than regain it!

just got back today from a completely disasterous break at whinfell. our first two visits there i couldn't have faulted, but this time they put is bang in the middle of a building site (they are re-furbing some of the lodges, cement mixers, lorrys, vans, dumper trucks etc all hurtling past the front door, mud everywhere, hammering, knocking, drilling (you get the idea!). not a bit like the advert for peace and quiet. they also closed the road meaning about another mile on our walk to get to anywhere on the park. they had the cheek to charge us a £25 fee for selecting one of these lodges! they didn't mention any building works on the phone or the website. absolutely furious. won't be going back.

Just returned from our first and definitely last visit to Elveden. Though surrounded by beautiful countryside, the perimetre barbed wire fence enclosing the site gives a feeling that you have been penned in to spend as many pennies that they can squeeze out of you, usually by means of the overpriced, very average onsite restaurants or ...

Booked a break a month before going to Center Parcs. Unfortunately the promised reconfirmation and Plan Your Break guide failed to arrive. Numerous emails went unanswered and my telephone calls were never actioned upon. I was just told that they had been sent, resent, and that someone would contact 'admin' and get back to me. Nobody ever ...

Just got back from a weekend break at whinfell forest,we were 2 couples sharing one lodge. Everything was great on arrival, the lodge was basic but enough just for the 3 nights. The first night we arrived we went to Rajinda pradesh for a meal. On arrival one of the managers asked us rudely if we had booked, which we had not due to just ...

Center Parcs – Longleat Taking a young family on holiday is a tricky business with a completely different set of requirements than when going away as a couple. Not least among these is the amount of baby paraphernalia that you need to take. When our youngest was about ten months we took her to New England and managed to get everything ...

Myself and my partner went for the 4-night VIP executive villa break at the Longleat Centerparcs and as this was our first ever visit, we were a little apprehensive, but I must say we did thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Abseiling, Zip-wire, Falconry, Fitness Programs, PhotoShoot, 3G Swing, Archery are to name but a few of the activities we took ...

Have just returned from Longleat, our 4th visit. We have always loved our mid-week breaks but this time was different. We stayed in a 2 bed comfort which was dark and dingy in a terrible location at the bottom of a steep hill.
The restaurants prices are outragious. We will not be returning as we felt totally ripped off. A shame really as it is a great family break.

Center Parcs has a number of resorts through the UK – Whinfell, Sherwood, Elveden and Longleat Forest. In this review I refer to Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest, Nottingham. I have been a number of times to Center Parcs resorts however the last time I went I was a teenager, I enjoyed myself in previous times and with nostalgic thoughts ...

I went with my wife and son to the Lake District complex. Our first time at CP and, given I'm not one for 'chalets' or 'lodges', I was pleasantly surprised at the cosiness of the 'chalet' we'd been allocated. There was plenty to see and do for three days. However, the weather was very 'soft' - but you'd expect that for March in ...
