As any female normally likes the idea of a romantic break away I decided that I wanted to go off to have a break in a log cabin and my fella suggested Center Parcs as he had been a great number of times before and really enjoyed it. How to Book:- www.centerparcs.co.uk or call 08705200300 Location:- Oasis Whinfell ... Read the complete review

This was our first Centre Parc experience, and after hearing several positive reviews from friends we were well up for it. We opted for the Elveden Complex which is a comfortable two hour drive from where we live. There was eight in our party, four of which being children whose ages ranged from 9 months to 13 years. We went for a weekend breaks ... Read the complete review

We stayed at Center Parcs at Les Bois France had a fantastic week. It is a very easy drive from Paris so great for two centred holidays (we went to Disneyland for 3 days before) We have previously stayed at Longleat and Elvedon Forest and really enjoyed these holidays so decided to visit one of the French resorts as part of our longer ... After the destruction of the dome that housed many of the facilities in the fire of 2002 Center Parcs Elvedon has risen from the ashes, but is it bigger and better? Firstly for those of you who are unaware of what Center Parcs is. Center Parcs are large family holiday villages set in forests. There are four sites in GB Elvedon ... Read the complete review

We have just got back from Whinfell Forest. We stayed at Longleat in July, but have not been to Sherwood for about ten years. The drive-through check-in was very slow, and that was at about mid-day, so heaven knows what it is like at busy times. We thought there might have been a fast lane for those who had pre-registered. Also we had a ... Read the complete review

We first went 2 sherwood forest in 2002 because Elveden decided it would burn down!! We loved everything about it...especially the "helpful staff" (Luke, Matt, Brent, Paul, Jason n Jeff hehe!) ;-)......so in 2003 we went back there again, even though it was a 3 1/2 hour trip from our hometown of London. Unlike Elveden, it's not all ... Read the complete review

Myself and my partner visited Centre Parcs at Oasis Windfell Forest in Cumbria at the start of the year and can I just say upfront that this was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had, and only 1hr drive from home!!! The bliss of swimming outdoors in warm water when the snow is on the ground, swimming outside at night looking up at the stars, lying relaxing in a sauna to smooth music - or conversely - Invigorating workouts, badminton, squash, tennis tournaments, Archery. Visited Oasis Whinfell in Cumbria on 26/04/04 for a 4 night midweek break. Although the earliest check-in was 3.30pm, you can arrive at 10.30am and leave your car in the main car park which we did. We headed straight for the sub-tropical pool area and found it very busy as most people head straight for the pools on the ... Read the complete review

Oasis Whinfell is located just a couple of miles off Jct 40 on the M6, its easy to get to and the views are amazing. Check in was straight forward and quick, however, you cannot take your car to your villa for unloading until 3:30pm so be prepared to go swimming or take part in activity until this time. The main part of the parc is the dome, ... Read the complete review

We (myself, husband and 4 year old Rowan) visited Longleat for the second time recently. I'm sorry to say we were not happy. We've been to centre parcs several times in the last 2 years, but I'm not sure at the moment that we would go back. Longleat is the oldest of the villages now, and the accomodation is very poor ... Visited the newly rebuilt center parcs in Elvedon last weekend. I can't believe that Center parcs continue to amaze me. A bit of history. Center Parcs in Elvedon had a major fire last year. My partner and I have just returned from a mid week break at Longleat forest... we both had a fantastic time! We stayed in a one bedroom executive apartment and would strongly recommend investing in the VIP package to go alongside it - it costs a bit more but the benefits of checking in at 1pm as opposed to 3pm and avoiding car park hell ... We just had our second Centerparcs mid-week break in Heijderbos in Holland. Last year we went to De Kempervennen, also in Holland, which was definately a better location with a slightly better aquadome. I have been to three Center Parcs ? Sherwood Forest, Elveden Forest and Longleat. I can barely remember Sherwood Forest, so my comments are really based on several stays at the other two. As a bluffers guide to Center Parcs, you need to know that you go everywhere around the Parc Village by bike or on foot, the dome is at the centre ... Read the complete review

A TABBY cat lay sleeping in the early morning sunshine, curled up on a chair on the patio of our villa. We went to Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest in May 2003 for a Monday to Friday break. 'We' include myself, hubby, and three young children, aged 8, 3, and 1.
