You've seen the adverts for Center Parc. A scene straight from the garden of eden isn't it? Oh look! There goes a fluffy bunny!!! OK, let's not get too carried away... My only experience of Center Parcs is from my two visits to the Sherwood Forest one in Nottingham. I will straight away say that I actually enjoyed ... Read the complete review

The Major Oak is the tree that legend says Robin Hood hid in. Although the story is good, the facts do not match as the tree is not old enough. However, it is a very old tree and well worth a visit. The tree is at Edwinstowe, just a five minute drive from Centre Parcs, in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. There is a very well laid ... Read the complete review

We went to Sherwood Forest for a week in May and were extremely impressed. Back in April, my Wife and I wanted to take our 4 year old somewhere interesting for a weeks break. We got hold off a brochure and decided to give Sherwood Forest a go. It soon became apparent that it’s not cheap. We went for the cheapest week before the ... Read the complete review

My husband and I have been going to center parc Longleat 4-5 years and always had a great time. One great thing is that you can try out sports in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We have tried Clay pigeon shooting, Tai Chi and rollerblading which were new to us both and my husband rode a horse for the first (and probobly last) time. We love the ... Read the complete review

We took our 2 young children to Center Parcs for the first time last May. We chose one of the Belgium resorts because we have friends in Belgium who were joining us there & they had visited several in both Belgium & Holland & had said how fantastic they were. Eperheide is apparently the most suited to very young children - ours ... Read the complete review

I went to center parcs for four days with my girlfriend and was pleasantly surprised. The vast majority of people are given villas to live. Ours was a 1-bedroom villa, which just comprised of a patio, bedroom, and kitchen. The stay cost us £150 each but we also received a voucher booklet worth £75 that gave us money off and sometimes paid for the ... Read the complete review

I have been going to this particular holiday break for many years now and each and every time have enjoyed its vast and varied facilities. It has a wide range of activities that when you hear about puts you in mind of a pontins style of holiday. However i can assure you that whilst the basic concept is the same, how it is ... We had the time of our lives in sherwood forest, loved the parc, its so well designed and thought out. As you approach it looks so sci-fi ish if thats the right words the kids were amazed. The water play facilities are brilliant and always spotless, with lifeguards always on hand. We went half board and stopped in a lodge, really well ... Read the complete review

Great family friendly holiday. Stayed four times in two years and am not bored yet. I've tried and tested both Sherwood Holiday Village and Longleat and cannot fault either [Longleat is very hilly though - a good strong pair of legs are a must!]. The villages are clean and well cared for without interfering with the natural atmosphere they ... Read the complete review
