The Major Oak is the tree that legend says Robin Hood hid in. Although the story is good, the facts do not match as the tree is not old enough. However, it is a very old tree and well worth a visit. We had the time of our lives in sherwood forest, loved the parc, its so well designed and thought out. As you approach it looks so sci-fi ish if thats the right words the kids were amazed.
