Cluj-NapocaNewest Review: ... but I can't say there are a great amount of Brits there, I feel that it's unfairly ignored. Cluj is a nice town with some great architecture, palacial buildings such as The Central University Library, The New York Palace and The Palace of Justice, a wonderful botanical gardens and a good under-ground nightlife for many genres (heavy metal, punk, jazz, electronic), it's also home to The Cheeky Girls.. although know one had heard of them when I was there (isn't ignorance bliss!), I've had some great pizzas there and some great evenings. Cluj-Napoca is in the heart of Hungarian speaking Romania, the northern city is one of the largest cities in Romania and with good air access these days too. The journey from Oradea to Cluj-Napoca or down to Sighisoara is simply breathtaking, curly roads through the mountains passing through gypsy kingdoms. Speeding Romanian drivers weave in and out of horses and carts. Cluj is often visited by Hungarians but I can't say there are a great amount of Brits there, I feel that it's unfairly ignored.
