Corralejo

I have visited Correlejo four times which speaks for itself! I have only visited costa caleta before which is another resort but does not have a patch on this place! You go to this place for the beach! The beautiful Caribbean beach is really like paradise you are amazed you are in Europe. It is seven miles long, so you literally have the place to yourself especially in low season. There are a few kite surfers which are amazing to watch. However, watch if you are with kids - the nudists are rather fond of this area! It's about half an hour walk from the resort, but with the sun and coolish wind this is lovely! I booked a holiday here in Dec 05 for a week with my fiance and had a lovely time. I am a huge fan of the canaries and have been to all of the main four islands. Fuerteventura was my second island I had visited. We had allocated on arrival so I didn't really have a chance to research into what the area was like. However, i was very pleased to get corralejo....It is a gorgeous little fishing village with modernised features and places to visit aswell. I would reccomend the market that they have there every week, you can get some great bargains and makes a lovely morning out aswell.
