You will find yourself stuck in endless traffic jams, and you will be paying up to 30 per cent more than in any other town in the inland surroundings -which is where you should go instead ! Express Review on Denia
by simmonad - written on 07/05/09
Rating:

Denia has avoided the worst of the concrete jungle syndrome by limiting building height to 4 storeys outside town and 6 in the centre. in addition to the 10km stretch of beach stretching out towards Oliva, Denia hosts the superb "New Marina" with a wide array of bars and restaurants. The lack of large stores has been remedied by the "El Portal" shopping centre by the motorway, so if you want "boutique" shopping, Denia is a great place.

It is a wonderful place, being one of the more Spanish cities compared to Benidorm and Javea situated on the Costa Blanca. As you drive into Denia, there are some huge buildings that are car dealers and big shops that sell all kinds of lighting as well as household goods. There is one magnificent restaurant that is one of those Chinese all you can eat restaurants. It is called WOK Denia, and is ...  Read the complete review
