Newest Review: ... Summer Average temperatures stay in the 90s during the day and 70s at night. Fall Average temperatures are in the 80s close to 90 degrees during the day and 50 to 60 degrees at night. Winter Average temperatures are 60s during the day and 40 to 50 degrees at night. Best time to go! I think September is the best time to go to Destin. You need to wait one week after Labor Day has passed and all Hotels and Condos are 40 to 50 percent cheaper than they were the week of Labor Day or before Labor Day. Review Topic: Sights & AttractionsReview Topic: Sights & AttractionsThe hidden city everyone is finding. The beaches are white as snow, the city is modern looking in all of the Condos and Hotels. This is not your party town that is about a 45 minute driving east in Panama City Beach. This is more a family oriented place to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and the beach. Destin lies on what is called the Emerald Coast, you can see the green emerald ocean and the beauty it provides. If you have never been on the Gulf side of Florida, you are missing it all. Destin, Florida is a fun family vacation place. Located on the pan handle of Florida it is part of the Emerald Coast. It is in the Top Ten List of Best Beaches in USA. It has White sand and, clear clean water. They also have fun places to go like Big Kahunas, a water park, and The Track, a place with Go Karts and much more. They has resturaunts with some good food and entertainment, like McGuires, The Crap Trap, and Busters. I would definately recommend this for a fun vacation. ... Read the complete review
