Advantages: FUN LIVELY CAN BE INEXPENSIVE

Disadvantages: CROWDED HOT

I absolutely loved downtown new york. The first thing i will say is dont be fooled by people always telling you its very expensive cos it most certainly isnt. It can be as expensive or as inexpensive as you choose. To be fair we didnt stay downtown but we spent all our time there, the main attractions are free or are very cheap for example times square. It was amazing and its free to look at and feel the atmosphere. Another example is ground zero, it was fantastic and humbling experience to be there and cost us nothing, for the empire state building it cost us in the region of 10 dollars to go see it and the same for the boat trip to the statue of liberty. food i didnt find too expensive either its all dependent on where you eat at and the places you choose. I loved the city and would go back in an instant but dont let people put you off on the fact that its majorly expensive. It can be well within anyones budget
