Venice (Italy):
... there is one place in the entire world that you have to go to its venice, and this is purely for the exquisite nature of the country, how it is laid out and the incredible architecture and culture. For any traveller venice is a must, situated and built on waterplanes the city is literally on water and hence the only way to travel is by boat, there are no cars, no buses, tramways anything remotely that can transp... Malia (Greece) ... went to Malia in July 2009 in a group with six other girls, we were all 18 and it was our first abroad trip. We all absolutely loved it. Clubs open til the early hours, bars open all the time and the beach full of people at any hour eager to come over and make conversation. A typical night in Malia was eating out at a restuarant about 8 or 9pm, then heading back to our hotel for some drinks, and then going to a bar at about 12 or 1 and then moving on to the clubs from about 3 am onwards until aobut 6 or 7 in the morning, where breakfast would be had at the local Subway or McDonalds! It was brilliant fun. I stayed in Drossia Palms, a brilliantly situated hotel right ... Read the full review: Malia madness by kinglillie |

Monte Carlo (Monaco) ... Carlo is world renowned for being a city of excess and exuberance. My visions of it were being costly, glamourous and glitzy, but in a much more classy, and less neon way than Las Vegas. Monte Carlo is on the French Riveria (South of France) and is a small city, principality, with its own rules and passport stamp. I had the opportunity to visit when I was in Nice. I would have never holidayed just to Monte Carlo alone as It would have cost far too much, not only in accomodation, but in entertainment whilst I was there. I did however want to go and experience what life was really like in Monte Carlo. I took a day trip from Cannes, and depending on what the exchang... Netherlands ... Netherlands is a small nation in Western Europe made up of 12 provinces, including North and South Holland. The Netherlands is commonly but incorrectly called Holland though it has become so popular that the dispute over its name is longer offensive. Allow me to expand on some key areas of dutch life: 1)Geography: The Netherlands is bordered by Germany to the East and Belgium to the South. The Belgian/Dutch border is located around an hour and forty minutes drive from Calais and the channel tunnel. The historic capital Amsterdam is easily accessible via ferry from England and ferries land at Velsen, roughly a half hour car journey from Amsterdam. The Netherlands is f...
