The beach was very near the campsite though, partially cultivated with parasols and loungers, but partially left alone, with stones ranging from large pebbles to small boulders. We spent 2 weeks in Puglia (or Apulia) in June 2004 and during this time had a chance to taste what I feel was only a small sample of Puglia's delights and this review describes the Gargano promontory, where we spent the second week of our holiday.
