Gouvia (Corfu, Greece) ... base. Gouvia remains popular with the island's rich and famous boat owners. There are some impressive homes and costly yachts to be found in Gouvia harbour. Gouvia sits in a tightly curving natural bay, 5 miles north-west of Corfu town and Corfu airport, on the east coast of the island. Gouvia feels self-contained and a little secluded due to its setting even though it is so close to the capital.

While on holiday I feel it is quite important to actually find a Marina. I am not sure why but I think it is such a holiday thing to have some food looking out at rich yachts and the sea so while in Corfu I was determined to find somewhere so when we had the car for a few days this was my chance.
