Guadalest is a beautiful town set on the top of a mountain, over looking some fabulous countryside right down to the sea. Guadalest is well-known for its castle, which is literally hanging off a cliff. It is obviously quite stable though, and can be walked across to see the spectacular views. Guadalest makes a wonderful day out and you can quite easily spend three quarters of a day in and around the area, as there is quite a bit to do.
