Advantages: Lodges are perfect, staff friendly, very peaceful

Disadvantages: You need a car

On arrival we were warmly and efficiently greeted by the park management and directed to our lodge, and what a lodge!! Total home from home comforts with everything you need. We were 4 adults staying in one lodge and there was plenty of room. The decor is simple but tasteful and everything was spotless.
The site itself has a golf course, several good walks and a brilliant traditional games room.
If you want noisy clubhouses then don't go but if you want to escape for some peace and tranquility then give it a try, I don't believe you will be disappointed. We went in the middle of December but plan to go again in the warmer weather too.
If you don't fancy cooking there's an excellent pub in Polperro 'The Blue Peter'. Serves delicious food and the staff are friendly.
An honest 10/10 for both Hoburne and The Blue Peter.

Summary: Excellent for a long weekend to get away from it all
