Ayia Napa or Agia Napa as it is rightly named seems to have itself a name for being a party central. Full of young British europeans out getting drunk and loud - a bout half a mile not even that is - but what about the rest of this small fishing village. Did you know Legend has it that a Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary was found in Ayia Napa in a cave during a hunting expedition? I thought not. Ayia Napa is reguarded as 'the party capital' of Cyprus. Full of bars, clubs, sandy beaches and tourist attractions, Ayia napa is not just for the young! Im 19 and have been to Cyprus many times as a child and recently visited with friends. We stayed about a 20 min walk away from the centre of Ayia Napa as at night it can become very busy and fairly noisy. Ayia Napa is home to many wonderful beaches, the most well known being 'NISSI BEACH', this can become very busy and full during the day so make sure you head off early morning to ensure you get a place! Water sports are available at a price. Sunbeds/loungers do have to be paid for but at a cost of between 2-4 ... Read the complete review
