Advantages: Continual spectular scenery! Lots to do!

We spent our honeymoon touring the Canadian Rockies and it is a must for any travel hungry person. The scenery is utterly breathtaking and it can be truthfully said that a picture does no justice to the real thing. On the main tourist trail you can visit Canmore (a lovely less crowded town than Banff), Lake Louise ( still frozen when we visited in Spring), Banff and Jasper. Our personal favourited had to be Lake Louise when if you visit in Winter or Spring you can walk the length of the lake ON the lake. A must is also the Banff Springs Hotel, even if you are not staying there it is worth taking a wonder around and enjoying afternoon tea in one of their restaurants. Whilst in Banff spend a morning on the gondola that takes you up to Sulphur Mountain where you are treated to stunning views of Banff, and be sure to schedule time to have a dip in the hot spring pools. It is a country well worth saving up to take a trip to.
