The Cayman Islands are very expensive, and the Government seem to want to only attract people who have money to spend. There are NO camp-sites and there are NO hostels. Visitors may have to prove they have sufficient funds to support themselves and their dependents and have tickets to their next destination. Visitors may be refused entry if their appearance or behaviour do not meet the normal social standards of Cayman. The cheapest room will be about US$80/night + government tax.
