Holiday Resorts in CorfuNewest Review: ... Para-sailing. It was an amazing experience as being so high, yet so close to the island, gave great unbeatable views. When you first arrive you will notice how prominent the sound of crickets is. However, you soon get used to this and it becomes quite relaxing. You are also sure to see many a stray cat, everywhere. A few times we ventured outside of Nissaki, and visited other villages. ... more |

NISSAKI: Another summer arrives, meaning another family trip to the Corfu Village of Nissaki. Nissaki is a small sea-side village in North-East Corfu. The main Nissaki area consists of a handful of tavernas (three of which are by the sea), several villas, Beach Hotel (don't know much about this), Sea View Hotel, a water sports jetty, a scuba diving centre, and a small gift shop. However, one day I ventured down to the Nissaki Water Sports, where I had a go at Para-sailing. It was an amazing ... Read the complete review

KASSIOPI, CORFU I spent two weeks in Kassiopi, a little fishing village on the Ionian island of Corfu, in September of this year. And quite frankly, it is such a stunningly gorgeous place that I almost have reservations about promoting it in any way whatsoever …alas, my altruism got the better of me, so here goes! WHY KASSIOPI? Having decided on a holiday in Greece, my husband and I considered renting a villa on Corfu, together with our 2 year-old son & my in-laws. Characteristically enough, we ended up leaving things to the very last minute, but when it came to booking it really was a case of last come, best served! The company we used, ... If it’s going to be your first visit to this popular Ionian Island, let me give you an insight into why so many tourists return year after year making it the most visited of all the Greek Islands! If you are lucky enough to arrive during day light hours, the views across the Island as the plane banks while coming into land may not be what you had imagined Corfu Island to look like. Especially if you’ve been to other Islands such as Rhodes or Kos because as nice as these others are, they can not compere with the lush cypress and olive groves that cover the majority of Corfu’s interior. The history of Corfu stretches further back than the Greek gods ... Read the complete review
