Two hotels with seperate reception areas, shared facilities.
We booked to go here for the first time 5 years ago it was last minute booking and a good price. After booking I researched various travel sites I begane to wounder if I had made a wise choice.
SO GLAD WE DID.
between the 2 hotels there are 3 swimming pools, numerouse bars one being a cash bar (nightclub). Upon checking in you have a band put on as it is AI, you will recive a card for your towels and your room key which is a crad is also used for the electric. (You open the door and then have to slot the card in a box on the wall to get electric! There are 2 beaches here it use to be one long beach but they wrere hit by a hurricain which totally changed the shore line. The sand is quite orange looking and the sea can get rough here very rough. So take head of the flag system and be very wary the year befor we went a gentleman broke his back after a wave caught him ! Sosua beach is a short walk a way and much nicer.
2 main resturants open for breakfast every thing you can think of is available and a chef will cook you a fried egg or omelete to you liking. During the day the 3 samller resturants which are a seafood , an itialis and a mexican open for snackss through the day. Agian for lunch the 2 main resturants open and tey then open again for evening meal. each night has a different theme but they still cater for even the fussier of eaters.
The 3 other resturants I mentioned open in the evening for theses you need to book and will get one voucher per resutrant per week.
Rooms we had a room for 2 adults and 2 children which had 2 double beds chest of drawers a large sliding door wardrobe which also housed they safe a good sized bathroom. All rooms have a patio or balcony having a special needs child I alwyas enamil the hotel befor we arrive to requst a ground floor room. Every time we visit they have gave us a ground floor room with a sea view ! Varoius activities through out the day around the big main pool, the other pools are quiter. A therater which the staff put on a show each night is entertaining.
All in all a good place to stay, good food outstanding surrounding, not forgetting the hot tubs over looking the sea. Do be carefull in resturants if its been raining the floors become VERY SLIPPY

Summary: visit sosua beach 10 mins away
