Holiday Resorts in Greneda

Grenada is quite simply the most beautiful place on Earth. In July last year I embarked on a cricket tour to the Caribbean which included a stay at the Flamboyant Hotel on Grand Anse Beach. I loved every second. It was massively heart-warming to see this Island has been able to rebuild having suffered terrible damage due to a hurricane in 2005. The place does not seem to have been affected by the tourist fever other locations like Antigua and Barbados perhaps have, it remains true to all of its roots. Grand Anse Beach is in the South West Coast of Grenada. It is on the Carribean side of the Island. The other side of the island is on the Atlantic Coast and the sea there can be quite rough at times. It is about a 10m minute drive from the capital St Georges and is reputed to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the carribean. We were staying in the next bay our hotel the Rex Grenadian was suituated at Pink Gin Beach. I just love that name.
