Advantages: sunny, quiet, fun

Disadvantages: bit out of the way

I've been to Ibiza two times and both times the resorts I've been to have been on the quieter side of the island. So I'm not here to talk about the clubbing scene in san antonio and Ibiza town.
Two resorts I've visited are san miguael and cala llonga.
San Miguael was too small even for me it consisted of 3 large but plesant hotels a very secluded bay and a few shops, there is only one burger bar as all of the hotels serve food and the resort is too small for a large amount of resteraunts. Due to this its a bit boring but there is a local bus service so you can visit other parts of the island. As usual you can hire sunbeds on the beach and there are also pedalos windurfers and canoes to hire. Its very good for canoes as there are a number of caves to explore and beaches that you can't reach by foot.
As for cala llonga this is a larger resort with quite a few different resteraunts as there are more apartments rather than hotels here. There is quite a bit more nightlife here still no clubs but things like fire eaters and things like that which is great. The beach is larger and still in a bay but there arn't as many water sports on offer. There is horse riding avalible though and it is near a golf course.
A hippie market also comes every other thursday which is good
