After I finished my a levels i thought i go a little wild so i went to ibiza.we stayed in a villa that looked just like the ones in the movies (got it through Suncentre Ibiza), spent most of our days on Las Salinas "posing" beach, ate fantastic (and cheap) food, and partied in the nightclubs. you can get by in english, but it is very helpful if you know at least a little spanish (thank goodness we have taken many trips to mexico in the past).

I found the locals to be generally friendly and very helpful. Driving was a little confusing at first as not all of the roads are well-marked, and many of them are narrow, but they do drive on the "right" side of the road.As for the nightclubs, I do not recommend Es Paradis.

I was 18 and that club was filled with 18-23 year old, badly dressed, rowdy british tourists just like me so no germans, good. however, we liked Pacha very much. there is a relatively new club called 5km that is very small, but it had the best music and crowd out of all of the places we went.I do recommend watching the sunset from SugarSea. I also recommend lunch at Mar y Sol.We did not go during high season, so we didn't see all of the crazy club parades, etc that everyone talks about, but May was the perfect time for us--the prices were reasonable, and nothing was too crowded.

I liked this very much so but magaluf just was a tiny bit better.

My rating has to do with the remark: "no germans, good." We don't like things like that here and don' tell me that you were being funny.

I must have been an abnormal teen and an even more abnormal 20 something, clubbing holidays and going wild never appealed to me. I'm just a boring cow who prefers quiet holidays getting to know the country as the locals know it.
